Strong storytelling skills, combined with understanding of television model, helping to enhance and re-invent at number one rated station in Hearst chain. Undercover investigation of crumbling infrastructure led to aggressive multi-billion dollar re-investment in bridges, water and sewer systems. WEWS-TV Cleveland, OH 2001-2010 Chief Investigative Reporter Dozens of Investigations led to local, state and national reform. Investigation of Social Security disability triggered national reform and adoption of the “John Hunter Rule” in which all ALS patients in America can obtain presumptive coverage. Multi-year coverage of corruption in Cuyahoga County government ultimately ended in dozens of federal sentences for public officials, including some of the highest elected officials in Cleveland. WTMJ-TV Milwaukee, WI 1994 -1996 Chief Investigative Reporter/Anchor Bosnia Peacekeeping Mission Series/Documentary exposed the realities of war on the region and upon American troops on the front lines. Undercover investigation revealed lax procedures at Zion Nuclear Power Plant, triggering a congressional investigation. WRAL-TV Raleigh, NC 1990 -1994 Investigative Reporter/War Correspondent/Anchor Live War Coverage - Operation Dessert Storm, 1991 Investigation of KKK, White Supremacy Resurgence triggered action by state and federal agencies, which ultimately led to a round up of some of the most notorious figures in white supremacy movement. Investigation of public housing revealed a cover up of the deaths of a mother and her son, which led to the firing of nearly every manager in Raleigh Public Housing Authority.
